Glad that he's signed but these wages really are obscene. Zaha's already got Ron Noades' old mansion with indoor pool - does he really need this? My annual season ticket, which I can barely justify, will pay for about 1 hour of Zaha.In the paper today there's talk of Arsenal offering Sanchez £270k per week to stay. Yes, I know there are dozens of PL players on more than Zaha but still I can't help but think that at some point the game will implode. As long as the league can sell TV rights around the world for gazillions, then the clubs' coffers will keep filling up and the players wage demands (and transfer fees) will keep going up. Also, China is a disruption as they're overpaying for anyone they can get.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

If anybody think Wilf is getting too much, have a look at this...
"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017. |

This is fantastic news. Made my day. Wilf has been far and away our best player this season and is getting better and better every season. The contract details were obviously to his liking and great to see him and the club come to a good agreement. COYP !!

Good point but it will be large no doubt and I think with his AFCON commitments that a few big clubs like the Spuds might not wish a punt at the moment. However if he keeps shining then this will not matter and we would be hard to keep him.

Bigger signing than the new manager IMO.

All is relative. here in Holland we look to England that way and I for one have vowed to never , never but truly never watch a single Chines game of football in my life. having said that I'm a hypocrite because I do enjoy the PL but the money is obscene and taking a lot away from the really game. Big contract with a clause allowing Wilf to leave for a massive fee. This will suit everyone really, so not surprised. Fair play to Wilf as he was our stand out player all season...
