To be fair if he lives in Manchester and is a City fan that works in our favour.

Also living in Manchester doesn't necessarily count as born and bred in Manchester. You'd imagine several referees live in London but you wouldn't expect them to support Chelsea/Arsenal/Tottenham/West Ham/Palace etc.

I think in their heads referee's live in cloud big club land, which doesn't discriminate about location, as long as the beloved big 4 get what they want...which is a more worrying prospect for us anyway!

Thought the 1990 Cup Final was at Wembley. Where do Brighton come in this thread?

I'm making a point about conspiracy theories. Some here have said that Gunn's living close to Brighton made him anti-Palace.

Exactly. Made some horrendous decisions....Andy Gray blatantly blocked leading to their first equaliser. Foul on Thomas in the box (marks on pitch confirmed this) given outside. Always remember Jimmy Hill trying to justify it by saying "well he was going away from goal" WTF Is Willo the reincarnation of Jimmy Hill?

I laughed because I thought the point was that coming from Sussex he was likely to be a MoanU fan. Oops!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
