It was definitely quieter in the second half.

Where I was sitting anyway.

Natural though given how comfortable it was at that stage.

Great atmosphere for most of the match.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

It was quality. Rocking at kickoff. The HF display looked quality. I was a couple of blocks away from the hull fans and couldn't really hear them....until the presentation when they were singing that Marco Silva/ glad all over chant over and over and over. It became tedious. Mix it up a bit ffs.

The only away fans I've heard this season are Spurs and Man U. I could see the Hull fans were signing at the end as they all had there hands up but it wasn't particularly audible.

The noise was rocking at the start and the end but it did fail a bit in the middle. Not sure if it was down to nerves or people relaxing.

XZ of the Arthur were particularly noisy. The acoustics of the Arthur are much better than the Holmesdale. I'm never too sure how the noise they make carries. The two bottom corners of the Holmesdale must be the worst acoustics in the stadium on account of how open they are and the height of the roof.

Signing never is audible.

I thought KickOff was the loudest it's been at Selhurst for a long time. I couldn't even hear my own singing, which is rare for me with my bellowing voice.

Would love it of we could be that loud for every match.

Volume definitely went down a couple of notches in the second half though.

It was lively for the first half then subdued in the second with -- bar a few moments-- only the HF audible until we got our 3rd.

I think it was almost like a weird anticlimax after we went 2 up. A lot of people probably anticipated a tight tense game. But suddenly we were all but safe.

Their fans did that (slightly needy) drone to Silva and there was no catalyst to get the place rocking again. Then the 3rd went in and it became a celebration.

Parts of the ground just take a lot to get going. Middle aged folk, older folk, nippers who've sat next to each other for years and wouldn't naturally sing and shout. Their default setting is to be quiet in public places.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

I take it the Hull fans wanted to get the message across to Marco Silva they wanted him to stay and also to the Hull club to keep him as manager whatever division they are next season.

It quietened down. Personally my voice was sore from seeing The Kooks the night before at Ally Pally, but the early start didn't help, and after the 2nd goal we knew we had it in the bag. So everyone chilled tf out.

it was very loud, I have complained about the atmosphere in a lot of games this season but on Sunday I could hardly hear myself think. It did get a bit quiet in the second half due to a bit of nerves and frustration but after that, the noise levels went back up. My voice is still sore today!
