Has done very well but I think he's a perfect example of how fickle is football fans can be. It's easy to forget Dann had arguably been our most important player for a couple of years and a hero to many. A small dip in form in a team that was all over the place and has already been deemed surplus to requirements by a few. I still think he has a big part to play in the future and I still rate him above Tomkins as a footballer, 100%

Actual defending drills and training rather than going to the manager asking for some on Thursday, only to have to do it themselves on Friday. Truly facking shocking and the man responsible should hang his head in shame. All to justify the contract extension, which was beyond unbelievable. Had not heard this before. Shocking.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Gutsy too. Played on at Anfield after that shocking tackle and clearly must have worked very hard to get back for today. Did "walking" training with the team to rehearse set-pieces before Sunday, and only played because he was dosed up with a pain-killer. He was expected to last maybe 60 minutes, but he played 86. A great pick-up. Now, if he could work on not missing the goal from inside the 6-yard box...
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Like many players he looks way better under Sam than he did under Pardew.

He made a huge difference when he came back against Hull. Didnt put a foot wrong. He made a great contributiin to giving us defensive solidity that enabled us to win the match. A good PL standard CB. I think he would have to step up a level - and stay fit - to warrant an England call up

That's why I changed mine back to England, I live in Cape Town and got slagged off a few times for being a jonny come lately South African when I'm actually a Brit who's followed Palace since '79.
Cynic or realist? It's a fine line! |

James had a very strong finish to the season and he looked a very good partner for Sakho. I think he is ahead of Dann now in Sams eyes and i think if we could sign Sakho we would be sorted there with Dann and Kelly as back up
