A club I really like, like palace a community club that seems to have a good genuine connection with the fans. I know they used to do a lot for the homeless of Merseyside with players like Naismith helping out in the past organising tickets.

Bill Kenwright texted Coleman on the evening of his injury confirming that he would still be getting the same 5 year contract being discussed with the same terms, which he has signed today. Class gesture from a club I have felt fondly for since my childhood hero AJ played there.

Let's hope they do us a favour tomorrow!

yeah they're a nice club. AJ was a bit rubbish for them though. Never caught fire like he did here

thats super classy of Everton to give Coleman a big contract even though he may now be 'broken goods'. And furthermore that he got broken while away playing for his country.

i couldnt imagine a ruthless ###t like Ferguson making such a magnanimous gesture.

i hope coleman gets well soon , and that all the good karma for Everton sees them finishing above Liverpool sometime soon.

The gesture I'd have preferred from them was to put some bloody effort into the Swansea game! That would have been "nice" and "classy"

First half they were shameful, but second half they looked a bit more alive. I'm surprised they didn't come out in flip flops and sunglasses though.

Quite a few teams ahve pi**ed me off by looking lazy and not bothered in their final few games. Not just because it's disadvantaged us but because we're all paying to watch proper football games. If they want to rest some players because they can, then fine, but FFS I don't want to see players sitting on deckchairs and reading newspapers in the centre circle. If they want to do that they should be playing cricket.

As well as hoping we're safe this weekend I hope we also give United a good spank^H^H^H^H^H game.
