Since we've had to endure a season of City disgracing Glad All Over, it only makes sense that we do the same to Blue Moon, right? Big Sam

Did we not nick Glad All Over from Spurs? No way José. What you might be thinking of or possibly have heard is that the Dave Clark Five’s distinctive music was known as the Tottenham Sound because of where the lads came from. I’m not aware of Spurs ever having used it as their anthem. Glad All Over is ours!

Did we not nick Glad All Over from Spurs? Careful, Ferret. Your dealing with faith here. As posted earlier, DC5's music was known as "The Tottenham Sound" but Spurs always IDed with Chas and Dave. Palace took "Glad All Over" when former tannoy DJ John Henty played it pre-match in the 1960s and it took hold. As for Citeh and Hull ripoffs, who cares?

I don't know if it was broadcast down South but we saw a TV documentary about the Dave Clark Five in which we saw the crowd singing Glad All Over during a Spurs game, and it looked real. Certainly the programme gave the impression that their fans sang it at one point. Edited by chateauferret (06 May 2017 8.46am)
