24 hrs later..........We were F----g awful v Burnley. I felt it as soon as I was in the ground. Did not enjoy the game at all. Apart from the first 5 mins. Had 3-4 cornoers in a row and then 7 mins bam !!! goal Burmley. Never recovered. Should have been 3-0 up to be fair to them. I hope I never feel like that again. But somehow I think I will. after all this is Palace we are talking about. Will STILL support them, Whatever Division they are in. that is why I have just got a season ticket for next year. My first one EVER !!! F.Y.I. First game v Leicester 1-1 1971. C.O.Y.P.-------P.T.I.P. E.T.C. Cheers Guys. Michael.

if it's any consolation those good judges, the racing post, predicted it down to our being relatively knackered compared to Burnley (they had a week off, we had pool and spurs) and our makeshift defence - we were a shade of odds on burnley were 7-2 to win and just odds against to win or draw which was the headline tip.

The game plan went out the window after we conceded due to some poor defending in the middle of the pitch. Should of looked at Burnley and seen where they could of hurt us in attack. If we have one ? (if we don't have one then that is a big worry for the next 3 games) another CB should of been played to bolster the defence. We only needed to not concede for a point. Reckon Burnley would of taken 0-0 as well. The point would of meant Swansea have to win all 3 games to catch us. I don't usually get that deflated after a loss but on Sat had a real sinking feeling, even put me off my ale. Expect it to be a really nervy Selhurst against Hull Sunday week. Praying for a better performance, particularly at the back. COYP !!

Tekkers should of burried his effort instead of hitting it a easy height for Heaton. So 3 down maybe not
