Definitely not. The beach performances we have seen have all come from teams with f*** all pride and f*** all honour: Stoke, Watford, Southampton. West Brom will obviously be the same. I wouldn't tar Everton with that brush. Nor Sunderland, come to that. Lukaku wants his golden boot or whatever it's called and Ibrahimovic is out of action. Oh, and he's looking for a pay rise, too.

Hopefully they will want to go down with a bang not a whimper and defo want to win their last home game.

1993:

Oldham last five D, L, W, W, W
Palace last five D, L, W, D, L

We had changed places with them and were always within a few points all season.

If we lose the last three games and Hull and Swansea pick up enough points, we will deserve to go down.

Mind you, it is not just us in trouble.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

We just need to match Swansea in one of our last three games. That's what I'm clinging to but I was at Ipswich then Arsenal in 92-93 and I share your concern.

Bloody 12 points lost to Burnley and Swansea is what will relegate us if it happens which it WONT (please, fingers crossed etc).

Every team who have 41 points or below without a decent goal difference should be looking over their shoulders. Swansea have 3 games against teams who could be on the beach. Win all 3 and they will have 41 points. Simply for us we need 1 more win, which seems the most likely against Hull. Barring unexpected results this is going to the wire with potentially 5 teams involved.

Everton most certainly won't be on the beach

How on earth did we not beat Burnley at home? That extra three points would have been massive for us. That was a missed opportunity to more or less secure us in the premier league and get us a half decent finish instead of 16/17th..

Where is the progression? I can see us doing a Sunderland soon as we can't seem to get a proper foot hold in the premier league, each season its the same thing.

Come off it, Sam has had to do a great escape and now has nobody fit.

If we had Sakho and Cabaye we beat Burnley and finish 10th-12th.

Sakho, Tomkins, Dann - That's a list of 3 centre backs that would have partnered Kelly against Burnley before Delaney ever gets a look in. It's madness he had to play. So unlucky.

We aren't going to do a Sunderland because we'll invest in the club, have a fresh 11 and Sam will have an entire season.

Let's not forget it's only because of Pardew being so, so bad that we are in this situation. We scored a goal in injury time against Swansea that put us in front and we LOST the game.

Look at those 3 points as the reason we are in trouble, not the 3 points against Burnley where we played 3 games in 6 days and the players were injured and tired.

Hats off to you sir for the most sensible piece of palace writing I've seen since burnley.

We have 5 CBs, and we're playing the 4th and 5th choice.

We lost home and away to Swansea. Both times we surrendered at least a point, that would've also robbed Swansea of 2 points. We'd be on the beach by now if we'd held on for the draw in either fixture.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.
