Anybody in the U 23 team who deserves a chance at CB?

Joe Ledley is the tallest at 182cm who might do a job from the bench - can't see anyone else.

Sliding tackles are clearly the cause of so many significant injuries on both the slider and the recipient. I really think they should be banned.

But 'dangerous' tackles should be penalised more severely, such as the Tottenham ones against Palace because they were extremely frustrated at being nullified. That ref needs to reprimanded.

Let's just win today then no need to worry about injuries and who will be fit soonest. As its stands I think Damo and Kelly will be okay against the likes of Burnley - might have been different if we were facing a top 6 team. However, if one of them gets injured - ooh er.

Not really "on topic", but I'm surprised that nobody seems concerned about tiredness for today's game. Sam - quite reasonably in my opinion - blamed our defeat by Spurs partly on having two games in four days. What about three in six?

So I was wrong about being capable of finishing mid-table but by god we need one of the centre-backs back now. Missing Cabaye too terribly, something's not right with McArthur. Dann looked like he was back doing some training based off pictures. Sakho was still holding crutches at some event last week.
