If the relegation candidates drop points We could smash them with confidence to make us safe. Don't fancy a clean sheet with our current back 4 but an easy 3-1 win I think.

Even if Swansea and Hull picked up points (unless they play after us) I can still see that helping us with Burnley feeling the pressure and slipping up.

Almost a sure bet we'll lose. I bet they won't turn up (us not Burnley). I'm going to Bet365...

3 or 4 - 1 Palace

a draw at the minimum, if they get lucky

Dunno whats up with all these negative predictions and feelings towards our palace men in this match. Andre Gray has been out of form for quite some time now, and basically all of our players (especially up top) are in form AF. 3-1 palace. Punch finally gets his.

Happy with a boring 0-0 draw, just don't go hung-ho and press Burnley back too much. Patience is the key word...

Go for it BIG time first half. The place will be rocking.
Then we can settle down and enjoy the second half. Everything crossed.

I agree. Maybe Schlupp will start.

I'd bring in McArthur for Puncheon who was desperately poor last night (apart from one excellent cross - he is mush better wide than central).

I've a nasty feeling about this one - teams who haven't won away all season always manage it against us. Remember Cambridge in the 80s - hadn't won away in about a year then scored after about 2 mins and won 1-0.

I think you may be referring to April 1984. The good news is that Palace got an equaliser, helped by the mighty Cambridge having two players sent off. It was a dire game.

I arrived a couple of minutes late, and as I walked in I heard the mildest of shouts and a little bit of clapping. It was only a couple of minutes after having taken my place in the AW that I realised Cambridge had scored. They must have had about 20 fans present - reflecting their dire circumstances.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
