I thought Jimmy Mac looked a bit off the pace last night. Maybe he is lacking match sharpness after missing so many games with that back problem

Just think he was well confined by the Spurs midfield. Cabaye was certainly not better.

But Cabaye didn't have a full game I him and Mac is just getti g back to full fitness...what else for BFS. The old Flamini or unimaginative Ledders? But Mac held his own for a while before tailing off quite badly. Would Spurs have scored with Macs constant harassing? Maybe not.

Yeah I didn't think Jimmy Mac was that bad at all. Lacking match fitness a bit that's all. I certainly don't think Cabaye did any better when he came on.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

He looked off the pace and was constantly by-passed and out-muscled. The Spuds midfield is very good so lots will be by-passed and out-muscled, but he had a poor game.
