No BFS is just promoting himself by saying he knows how to tactically beat the big clubs. But it is the players that do do it on the field. I doubt he will say tactically what he did wrong if we lose against Spurs .

It always reaffirms to the players that the tactics and their hard work is getting the results.

I was also surprised to hear BS describing Arsenal and Liverpool defensive weaknesses rarely hear that from a Manager talking to the media.

It is wrong to put it out there I think as it may effect how other teams play them stick to your own team.

No harm done tho I don't think and he is expressing himself as his confidence has grown with recent success.

Its impressive he knows what he is about.

Well we all know that.
I like it, especially when he says yes I know Liverpool had the ball more than us,but when we had it we did something with it.
Brilliant Manager at the moment keep it up.

SA does answer the questions asked by the media. However having beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and now Liverpool he is probably entitled to talking up successful tactics and plans executed used and current form. It is all part of being far more confident and trying to get more exposure for the club.

SA was apoplectic with regard to the press coverage following the 3-0 demolition of Arsenal which mainly covered Arsenal's impotence instead of Palace's total dominance-and he was right!

Whilst we are in this purple patch SA does praise the team and always singles out various players for special mentions.

I don't agree that any of is done to promote himself however when the team that you manage take the scalps of 3 of the top 7 teams within 23 days it is worth trying to grab all the exposure you can. Of course he is in demand and the media want to talk to him!

He could be bluffing, or double bluffing.

I think the operative word is "after", it's not like he told everyone before. No problem with explaining how he did it.

There is if it is used against you another time.

I thought it was a bit much but another part of me thinks he is doing it for his own gain. Some kind of psychological game rather than for his own ego. Although hard to tell.

I think it might be mind games ... "we know how you play" may force a manager to changing a (successful) set up, making a team play in a way they don't normally do.

If I can work out how we play, strong defence, break up play in midfield and hit them on the break with paces wingers supporting Beneteke. I am sure highly paid scouts and coaches from other Premier teams can, it doesn't matter what he says.
