I think the potential of this team is staggering. To win that many consecutive games against top teams, especially away at Chelsea and now Liverpool, shows what many of us already knew earlier in the season, that this was a Top 10 team that was under-achieving badly. We know have a top quality manager, plus a quality coaching team under him. With a full pre-season and some more quality additions in the summer, i think this squad can go a long way At the risk of being slated, winning that many consecutive games against top teams gas been fantastic. But, just to keep our feet on the ground, we've had a huge chunk of luck in some of those games, whereas earlier in the season every shot the opposition had went in, including a couple of wonder goals. ....just saying 😏

You just think...keep these players together and add 1 or 2...big ask but I genuinely think it's a side that could achieve great, great things.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

We could be very close to all our dreams, but I am going to "keep my feet on the ground". No harm in hoping tho!!!

This is a very good team because Sir Sam is a very good manager. So I agree that it ultimately won't matter if Sahko, Cabaye or such leave, because SS will make this a good team anyway. This is the highest point of CPFC in all its history: what? Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in their current form in the space of a few weeks??? Liverpool were lucky to get a goal and had few to zero chances all match - that's incredible! That's a defence that has its sh1t together, AND WITHOUT SAHKO. SS has turned all the players into superstars and they are jumping out of their skins to perform. Yes: THIS IS A VERY GOOD TEAM - REGARDLESS OF WHO STAYS OR LEAVES IN THE SUMMER.

This is the best team we have had ever but they need to be more consistent in my eyes they need to win more games than lose for a start and with the right players in the summer we will see how far this squad can go and we have to be more consistent every season and not when they feel like it which thisseason has been the way

I think the key to keeping zaha, cabaye and benteke this summer is to sign Sakho! Spot on. Sakho is the keystone to our success next season. With him, we will be stormin'. I believe the backroom staff is acutely aware, and will plan accordingly. Mama won't leave the family.
