As Willo has pointed out in a kinda depressing negative way the job isn't finished yet!
However we do have momentum, form and drive behind us so opponents are all very wary at present.

We still need 37, 38 or what ever points to secure Premiership status (I am sure SA, SP and the board would like to finish as high as possible).
Then we can all speculate whom we might be able to keep, acquire or sell to improve the squad to move forward to the next level in 2017-18.

I think we can all speculate now, I don't think we can expect anything to happen until we have secured our Premiership status, but we can speculate away.

I personally speculate that we should sign Sakho, I don't see why we should be looking any further than him. We have some deadwood coming to the end of their Contracts so we should let them move on and sign the four or five players that we need to take us to the next level.

Watching Man Utd game last night, the Anderlecht CB Spajic won just about everything and looked a class act. Might be one to think about if Sakho doesn't happen, Certainly less than £30m. He's only 24 and and Serbian ( a mate for Luka)

I came on here to mention this guy. Was superb under constant pressure from manure. Seeing as we're linked to his cb partner would hope he's caught the eye instead.

Yes it might have appeared 'Negative' but all I was doing was trying to be realistic about our plight - as you have pointed out "The job isn't finished yet" and there could be a lot of twists and turns before the season ends with "Squeaky bum" time spread across a few clubs including our own.

The focus of Allardyce and his management team will be on maintaining our top flight existence and once our fate is known they can then look to next season.

I for one would prefer to wait and see what Division we will be playing on before suggesting possible targets.

A run of five wins on the trot and turning Chelsea over away and stuffing Arsenal three-nil is a "plight", is it?

We are not out of the woods yet, but we are a long way from doomed.

Might be worth a look. Although they look certain for relegation, Boro have only conceded 43 goals this season (1 more than Liverpool!) and have kept 10 clean sheets. He is only 24 and has played 10 games for the England U21's and was recently called up to the senior squad to play Lithuania.
