I love Zaha and I think we would be incredibly lucky if we were able to replace him if he left; however, I'm also not convinced he would fit in at a top four team. I think he would have flourished under Ferguson if he'd stayed on at United, but he didn't. To my mind Wilf isn't suited to patient build-up play but rather the fast, counter-attacking style we use. Since Sam came in he has gotten fitter, stronger (did you see the way he effortlessly brushed Sanchez off the ball?) and seems more confident. I just hope what appears to be a strong bond between him and Bentenke helps persuade him to stay. After all, it would be really sh*t for him to reach his potential and then pi** off almost straight away.

Will Parish sell him to fund other transfers? NO. Not a chance. Parish clearly has big man love for Wilf and the only way he goes is because Wilf asks for it and someone offers crazy money.

I think mid-table awaits us next season with no real threat of Europe or relegation.

I think if he did go to a top 4 club he would spend a lot of time on the bench and be used as an impact sub. The only reason to go to a club outside the to 4 would be money. Hopefully if we offer him a good contract this won't be an issue.

It's infuriating every time we have a good win the press start buying and selling our players. When we do bad they slag them off. wilfs not for sale he's happy and with a good pay rise in line with the other big boys he would be mad to go now. I would say the Same for Sakho, he is getting what he needs the love and support of a small club.

With regards to the s*** press I am taking it as a compliment that they want our players, or want to destroy us. You have to recognise the behaviour of fear in your enemies. Hopefully next season things will be better. If we stay up there will be exciting days to come.
