Brilliant idea

[Link]

will direct all the heavy traffic coming in from the channel and link up the top end of the M25 in Essex

No doubt the usual moaners will be out in force protesting

Anything that facilitates free movement between Essex and the civilised world must be roundly condemned.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

You won't find too many moaning in the Dartford-area. The slightest problem at the river crossing and it's gridlock for five miles or more in every direction.

The nightmare scenario following this development, would be that denizens of Essex and the Medway towns would be able to interact in an easier fashion. If they breed, this could bring upon England a swarm of super Chav's, the like of which Jeremy Kyle and Graham couldn't assist.

On the plus side, shares in Greggs, Poundland and Carbrini would rocket.
