Anyone know when he's back? Think had he been able to come on at half time instead of that useless lump Sako, we would've got at least a point today. Really miss him

The main problem was that Sako isn't a replacement for Cabaye. It needed a like for like - Flamini was the obvious replacement?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jimmy Mac' by Guntrisoft Where's our Jimmy Mac? The injuries and lack of options from the bench caught up with us today. Heard McArthur's was something to with spasms in his back. Seems quite strange, is it dangerous to play with an injury like that or something? Anyone heard or have a theory on why he's not been seen at all recently.

McArthur got injured in the build up to the international break but I can't seem to find any information about how long he will actually be out for. Ledley is exactly the same. Oddly Sam didn't mention either of them when he spoke about injuries prior to the match, which makes me think they are more than a game away from being fit. Given that Remy and Tomkins were named and stated that they were unlikely for tonight and may not be available for Arsenal either. Options are needed, especially if the lads are getting worn out chasing the game against one of the top teams or working hard to keep them out as the game wears on.

Sam alluded to Ledley being absent because his wife was having a baby.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Once again we are top of the injuries list by miles with 11 men out and nobody else more than 7. Quite a few of those (it says) are back in the next couple of weeks, but we seem to pick up at least a niggle every game. Saturday we lost Dann and Tomkins, last night Cabaye who at least doesn't seem bad but if he doesn't play on Monday we may have to press McArthur back into service before he's ready, and so on. According to that we can get the Arse game out of the way and then we have McArthur, Tomkins and van Aanholt available again. That at least gives us a quorum.

We really need Tomkins and McArthur back for Arsenal. Kelly didn't work or instill much confidence yesterday. Delaney although left footed, should play if Tomkins is still out. Ledley should be back but I don't rate the protection or lack thereof that he gives us. Edited by Mad4palace (06 Apr 2017 8.22am)

Schlupp also went off, I don't know what for or whether he's still available but if not we had better be able to play van Aanholt. Again might be a case of being pressed to bring him back before we would like to.
