Crystal Palace full-back Patrick van Aanholt has made the extraordinary claim that former Eagles boss Alan Pardew tried to tap him up during a match while he was a Sunderland player.
Van Aanholt, who joined Palace in a £14million deal from the Stadium of Light in the January transfer window, was admired by Pardew before his dismissal at Selhurst Park.
Pardew's successor Sam Allardyce was reunited with van Aanholt at Palace after the former England manager earmarked the Dutchman as a key component of his survival strategy.

Can we not have some sort of warning if you're going to link to the Daily Mail, I hate giving them c***s anything.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

Alan Pardew did so many stupid things in 2016 that I can't see how this can be regarded as extraordinary.

As for van Aanholt, stop talking and get fit please.
