Only on the crystal palace roller coaster can you lose 0-4 at home to the worst team in the league and then beat the run away leaders on their own patch a few weeks later!!

Losing 9-0 to Liverpool then beating them in the FA cup semi final later that season springs to mind!!

There must be a very long list, help me out!!

3/4 New Players and a new captain on the pitch has made all the difference.
Plus Sams new management team.
All so professional and fighting as a team not to lose.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

In fairness we've been like this every season in the premiership since we got promoted. S**t half of the season, great half of the season.

Pardew kind of managed to get 12 great months, followed by 12 horrible months. But both him and Pulis came in to a team that was broken, down and doomed, got great finishes out of them.

Big Sam seems on schedule to perform a similar feat after Saturday.

Fifth at Christmas with Lee's fine strike followed by twelve months with six wins in the league despite nearly winning the FA Cup at the same time.

I am hoping that BFS can correct the schizophrenic nature of the team, and we get to see where we can go with a full season of competence.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Works the other way as well, steve Bruce taking us top of the table with a several wins on the trot, only for Trevor Francis to turn us into a team capable of getting stuffed by Millwall and Grimsby a few weeks later!!

We are a mental mental football club. In 45 years of supporting Palace I am struggling to think of more than two seasons where we were mid-table and neither one nor the other relegation/promotion wise and having a safe/boring season from the off more or less.

Peter Taylor made us so boring to watch and although mid-table,he had us all begging for a relegation battle for a bit of excitement

I'm sure that if Palace were safe mid table for two consecutive seasons there would be many on here pining for the excitement of PL relegation - or Championship promotion - fights.
After all that's what most have been used to over the years!
