I think the HF do a great job in the Holmesdale stand and we are known for creating a great atmosphere home and away. But does anyone else find it embarrassing that all of our passion, noise and bouncing/jumping up and down comes from one tiny corner of the stadium while the rest of the stadium stays "still"? Can't we create a few sections around the ground where we have groups of fans that are bouncing, singing, etc. How good would that make us look to the world and show everyone our passion and love for the club? We need some Arthur Fanatics etc.. Edited by Palace Passion (19 Mar 2017 9.38am)

I'm all for plenty of noise in support of our team. But personally i don't want to "bounce" up and down,i like to watch the game and scream and shout when necessary .

If you want lots of noise give everyone those horrible clacker things that Leicester fans so love. OTOH...

There was noise everywhere yesterday but you must be new so just to bring you up to speed. We have the AWM, 200 strong who don't stop and make lots of noise, the Whitehorse were pretty loud yesterday as well but mainly focused on the away supporters who where also very vocal. Other areas generally stay in there seats out of respect of those not wanting to stand. The matchday experience is very different in different areas of the ground. Give it a go, you maybe surprised.

There's a lot of chants coming from the Arthur and a lot coming from outside of the HF in the Holmesdale... Particularly when the HF are singing songs that no one know the words to. There's other parts of the ground occupied by supports of older generations who have been coming for 50 years and are past the stage in life where they want to jump up and down and shout for 90 minutes. The HF have done a great job at Selhurst but there's two things I'd like to change. 1) stop singing songs that sound make us sound like we have mental deficiency (oh oh ow oh oh oh crystal Palace - in particular) 2) when we get a corner of a free kick, can we just return to the simple chant of "Eagles, Eagles, Eagles"

Muggy song. Sounds like a sing song for 5 year olds.

Saying that, I like the one I first heard this season that goes: We're the red and blue army, Quite catchy I think. Edited by Dan1994 (19 Mar 2017 12.58pm)

I absolutely cringe when "stand up if you love Palace starts" cos you can guarantee that a quarter of the ground are already standing, a quarter reluctantly shuffle to their feet and half simply don't want to. We end up looking like mugs every time. Singing areas should evolve naturally and not be strategically positioned. Edited by hastingseagle67 (19 Mar 2017 7.56pm)
