I've just downloaded kodi but how to I get live streams? It's giving me the option to watch saved tv programs etc.

Have you ever used Kodi before? If not Google how to install an add on called Sports Devil, although there are others available too. It's a bit fiddly, to say the least, to get it working but you will find YouTube videos on how to do it. Once installed you will find links to many sites which stream live football. Kodi is just the operating system. It's the add ons which enable the streaming. Some, like YouTube and BBC IPlayer, are not contentious, whilst others are now being put under the spotlight, so whether they continue to be available is uncertain.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

I find kodi a bit cr*p for Live streams.
Mobdro is much better - but they are based on certain Live channels throughout the world. Finding the game you want is sometimes difficult.
If it's on BT or sky, then it's easy.

Kodi is just the platform, its all about the addons/apps.
There's not that many good free ones now, but there are some very good paid addons, which you then watch on your mobile as well.

Download this app called World TV Plus. It's a touch tricky getting rid of the adverts but you will find the game.

Try this: [Link]
Once you go into a specific game there are usually several links and they tell you which are Android compatible.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!
