If there is, it escapes me.

Go on then, enlighten me.........

Because it has often been a habit of the far right to liken people of another ethnicity to animals.
You have just done the sort of thing you claim to abhor.

I'm not having a go at you, I'm just illustrating how those who try to occupy the moral high ground often employ double standards and fail to realise it.

Glad you recognise Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organisations. They both have links to Al-Qaeda - all three organisations met in Lebanon in 2002 to discuss joint terrorist attacks against Israel, USA and the UK.
Both Hamas and Hezbollah call for the total destruction of Israel of course, and article 32 of the Hamas Covenant states "The HAMAS regards itself the spearhead and the vanguard of the circle of struggle against World Zionism."

Allies are often of Convenience, when dealing with a much more powerful enemy.

Well yes and no, there are different factions within Hezbollah and Hamas, especially outside the 'military arms', who would likely accept a compromise over Israel that included an independent Palestine, a deal on 'illegal settlements' and the Golan Heights, West Bank and Gaza.

Unsurprisingly Military wings tend to be far more hawkish and extreme, its hard to get people to fight and die for a cause that's couched in more reasonable terms.

But the key point is that increasingly, both organisations have been open to increased political intercourse as they've grown in power. Effectively they're organisations that you 'can do business with'.
