Yep. A few weeks ago, our LB going down would've been a major disaster for the formation. Now BFS just plugs in the other left-footed wingback and we move on.

Also, the flexibility to bring on Dann as an extra CB to counter Pulis' move of an extra man up front was a perfect response, and something else we could not have done without Sam's transfer moves this January.

Just goes to show how little tactical awareness Pardew's has. His response was alwys to throw on another forward.

Just FYI, "away", in your post does not need to be in quotes because you aren't quoting anyone. Also, inverted commas aren't quote marks (unless you are quoting within a quote). Lastly, "away" is not a proper noun so it does not need to be capitalised.

Now your all happy we have Big Sam in charge.
It is nice not to hear the same old crap from the Pardew lovers though. They seem to have gone quiet the last couple of weeks.
