Well done mate and to the others helping you. I really thought he was gone with the disgrace that was the rail staffs response to get a defibrillator. I went trying to find one after asking a couple of them for one and getting no sort of answer or response from them.
I am so glad to hear he is recovering I was really stewing thinking that someone had died and could have been saved if the rail staff weren't a bunch of incompetent dicks.

Do you know something nobody else does? Reading through the thread he is ok in hospital.

Oh, I saw the link in the OP, thought that was edited in after the first few posts. My bad, glad to hear he's recovering, and big well done to Buster!

Seriously, Well done to everyone who helped. I had just got off at platform 6 and about to board on platform 5 only to see this poor chap getting cpr. Seemed to go on for ages, what with the defibrillator debacle, I thought he'd gone.

Again well done to you first aiders!! You saved his life by the sound of it

Guys. Just to let you know after the guy was taken to hospital I spoke to the station manger about the first aid kit. I have now received a response and all equipment is now fully equipped . So no more issues if it happens again at east Croydon. Also thank you for the replies it's much appriecated.

With all the moaning about the HF plus the idiots that sprayed graffiti on our own coach by mistake it's good to read something positive about our fans for a change.

Well done to all that helped out

Just a shame this story won't get anywhere close to as many headlines as the coachspray story! Well done everyone involved.

That excludes the numpty who was supposed to check the defib was fit for purpose!
