I thought he prepared the team very well for the Boro game and reacted very quickly to when Boro made changes and were threatening to get back into the game.

Disagree completely Schlupp came on in the 87th and Dann came on in the 88th Felt he could have made his subs a good 20-30 mins sooner. That said we won so it turned out well in the end.

I think the real point here is that we have players of the quality of Macarther, Schlupp and Dann on the bench now.

I though he should have taken Zaha off for Schlupp earlier but in the end Van Aanholt got cramp. We have long needed a player like McArthur to bring on to stabilise and add a bit more energy late on, the problem has been with him starting he starts to fade and then gets taken off along with Cabaye if they're both playing. For me Milivojevic and Cabaye have to start but McArthur HAS to finish the game, especially if protecting a result.

I think Cabaye being booked also played a part in the substitution. He was flying in to tackles and has a tendency to arrive half a second too late on occasions. Don't mean this as a criticism, he was clearly up for the game, played well and was probably a bit knackered after covering so much ground. Schlopp for PVA was enforced because of cramp, not sure he would have made it otherwise. Dann for Zaha made sense because of the inevitable long ball in the last 5min. So I'd say he got them all right, although all of them were obvious changes.
