Goal scoring? Would score plenty if this were rugby league.

Goal scoring? But having played the last year without a recognised holding midfielder, it's hardly surprising the goals have dried up. First home game with Milivojevic and both Punch and Cabaye had about 5 goal scoring opportunities between them.

I don't think any of his assists have been from playing CM - the one against Southampton was when he went wide and pulled back from Benteke and I think the others were corners.

Punch has been very poor lately. He did ok the 1st half but seemed to be spend most of the 2nd half running backwards. I did like his tackle though that set Wilf up for his long shot.

Goal scoring? He’s been well off form for a long time and if we stay up, a playmaker is definitely an area we should try and improve. Still don’t agree with the way some people talk about him. And yes, I doubt many midfielders have scored more goals for us at this level.
