Don't need any break for the following: 1. See that thing with a net across it ... thats called a goal 2. See that ball ... you kick it in that goal Then the fans are happy, Sam is happy, SP is happy and we might get three points if we kick it in the goal more times than the other team. Simple really 3. See that lot over there? You've to stop them kicking the ball into *our* goal. 4. See that bloke in black? He's a t***.

The other point is, no one has a clue about the training Sakho has been doing or his fitness. Maybe he and the club have been working hard since he signed so it was necessary to give him a rest? Maybe he's still two weeks away regardless so they didn't want to rush him further? Maybe, just maybe the club and him have decided that playing U23 games isn't the best for him. He can't train 24 hours a day, and he can't train for 14 days straight either. Still, I'm sure you know best. Are you stupid? He's had a medical so we know his general fitness level. If he was still 2 weeks away we wouldn't have signed him on a short term loan. How can playing a game of football not be the best thing for a footballer? It appears he is lacking match sharpness , hence the reason he's been on the bench for the last 2 games. Going away for a week as other clubs have is completely different than for a weekend. Finally there is something called professionalism. If I hadn't played for 9 months I'd have a quiet weekend the week beforehand.

I don't see what the issue is? The whole team have the time off and they can do what they want with it. Yes it's a 7 hour flight but I would expect him to be travelling first class which means you can just relax the whole flight in a seat that becomes a bed. It's also only a 4 hour time difference so no jetlag. It's up to the players where they go on their time off. I'm sure we'll see Sakho when the management team deem he's needed.

Nothing wrong with a few days off. I've personally resigned myself to relegation. But the game against Boro is important. Allardyce has had two weeks to get the players mentally prepared for a home game, a relegation six-pointer, against the lowest-scoring team in the Prem. It's a must-win for me, otherwise I will think Sam Allardyce is, for all his past record, a busted flush and we should be going for a younger, hungrier manager to get us promoted back up.

Simple really One would hope the above was part of the back to basics analysis morning after their Sunderland debacle. If they don't step up on Saturday and deliver a win for the long suffering supporters then I'd want to bench most of them for the rest of the season. I really don't want to watch any more crap or hear excuses. I'd much rather see our youngsters have a go ... if we still have any left at the club? Edited by Henry of Peckham (23 Feb 2017 5.39pm)
