I'm fairly certain SA is a massive fan of sports psychology. I'd be massively surprised if hiring a psychologist wasn't one of the first things he did.

Judging by the recent opinion offered from pundits such as Stevie G and Jenas among others, the blame for our current plight is firmly placed at the players door, for lack of character, leadership ,fight and self belief.
Time to bring in some true motivator, like Eddie Jones or Tony Robbins to get them to believe they can beat the drop if they think they can.

I definitely think that is part of the reason (self belief/ confidence/ nerves), especially at Selhurst.

But Jenas, Gerrard and other pundits use these kind of 'go to' reasons all the time when they have nothing to offer in terms of actual analysis. Ask most Palace fans (not straight after a defeat, mind), and theyll come up with a lot more insightful reasons why we are struggling (e.g. Hennessey, no left back for ages, terrible central midfield, Benteke isolated etc etc)

Leadership, lack of character I believe are pretty empty phrases where people are looking for excuses.

Like Leicester last season - great character, team spirit, leadership, passion.
THis season, pretty much same squad - is the character now bad? is the passion/ leadership gone? No they have lost some key players, players are underperforming, teams are more used to their style, and theyve had some bad luck.

Agree with your analysis.
Even Simon Jordan is suggesting it will be a tall order for us to get enough points to stay up, given how little chance we have to get any points off any of the top six teams we face in our remaining fixtures.
