Boro are the only team outside the bottom 3 that we can catch, forget Swansea and Leicester they are good teams that will sort themselves out.
This makes this game a must win, if we draw it it hurts, lose it and forget about it.

4 wins, 10 draws, 11 losses. only 19 goals in 25 games, but conceded only 27.
Doubt they will score, but will we ?

Biggest premier league game for us in years. A win will give us a fighting chance of survival, however, anything less than that will severely dent our chances of survival.

A win at selhurst will be massive and hopefully start an unbeaten run and pull us clear of relegation. It does look bleak but it's still all to play for and a win will totally change the landscape for both players and fans.

For what it's worth I think we will win 2-0 then start an unbeaten streak ensuring our survival.

The bigger the game is built up the more chance we'll lose. Our players are freezing under pressure. This is the main problem.
Lets all stop underlining the importance of each game and just get behind the team more vocally than we have in ages. Be great to see every stand singing their hearts out. That and an early goal could carry us to victory.

Thankfully, enough other teams have been s*** that even though chance after chance to get a win passes us by, we're still well in touch. I wouldn't even mind a point against Boro - I'm just desperate that we don't hand them points like we've done for Swansea and Sunderland.

so, you haven't seen our final 6 fixtures ? its 40 points by the start of April or we are doomed.

a draw against boro will be the final nail in our coffin. Draw against boro and we will finish second from bottom at best. The rest is just conjecture.

I don't think a draw would be a good result or that we should be aiming for one. But the way things are at the moment, I would probably go 'At least we didn't lose.'

Your worry is that it'll be a 0-0 draw. Mine, at about 3.45 this morning, was that Boro will score after 20 minutes. And that will be that.

Tbh I would take a 0-0. Anything is better than the run we are on!

I could easily see 32 points being enough this year. Beating boro could be crucial. Tony Pulis will do everything in his power to nail our coffin down tight.

I never ever thought I would say this, but Pulis got Palace to play with a brilliant balance of attack and defence, and a much more stable pattern than Pardew managed. Can Sam achieve the same? He'd b.....y better, if not, were'e toast

We really need to get behind the boys for this. They haven't been their best but neither have we. We need to show why people were calling Palace fans the best in country not long ago, get behind our team and lift them whilst they're struggling.

There are still key winnable games coming our way that could keep us up, if players believe (and score and don't create daft defensive errors) and the home crowd lift the rafters.

Middleborough - 3pts
Watford-3pts
Leicester City - 3pts
Burnley - 3pts
Hull City -3pts

If we can nick draws in several away ties e.g. WBA & Southampton, then all the better, but surely the team has to adopt attitude of every game seeming like a cup final from now on.
