He divides opinion, but quite plainly, of all the managers available Sam was our best option. Was he? He was the most obvious but Silva and in particular Clement are doing a good job.

A lot of Brummie fans were pleased with Rowett going, said the football was extremely defensive and dull. That's why the board went out and got a "progressive" manager. The Zola transition excuse sounds all too familiar. Rowett is a prime example of someone becoming better without having done much to justify it. I live in the area surrounded by Blues fans and I've never heard that. In fact most Blues fans liked Rowett and appreciated that he looked capable of getting the team promoted which is something they haven't had for quite a few years. Local rumour is that the new owners wanted Rowett to sign a long term contract but he wouldn't until he had ascertained exactly what their plans and aspirations were for the club so they dispensed with his services and went for a "name" who has since steadily taken them down the table. I freely admit that Rowett was my pick as the new manager but understand why our board went for experience instead

Big Sam is the right man wrong time, personally other than Pulis he's the only man I think would have got us out of this, I firmly believe he would have done well for England and my opinion the board should have sacked pardew after the first 3 games after the cup final.. i still do genuinely believe we will do this , leicester and Bournemouth are there for the taking.
