"Knee jerk" means to suddenly react to a stimulus without any thought or reflection. Suggesting we might go down is hardly a knee jerk response when you have had 12 months of dreadful form.

Edited by miles18 (11 Feb 2017 6.50pm) What is it with this past his best stuff. Seen a few comments like this, Jules has barely played the last two seasons, so how do you know he's past his best? Keepers can go on a lot longer than outfield players, don't get it.

My comment is not meant as negative as our fate was sealed last season when we never replaced pardew in the summer also let's not forget the fa cup final curse thing
