We have become everything I despised in Sunderland and Newcastle fans over recent years. Leaving at half time, booing, confronting the players. None of it will help us get out of this mess. People are understandably frustrated but the fact that they feel it's ok to behave in a manner that they would not dream of doing in any other aspect of their lives is pathetic. We are at our strongest supporting the players. The silence in the second half shows what we are really about. Like those teams I mentioned above, not so much supporting through thick and thin, just supporting through thick and behaving a like a spoilt child having a tantrum through the thin. These 'fans' deserve relegation. Yep I'm with you, I fear we are in the minority though. All I'm saying is it ain't gonna help anyone slagging the team off during the match.

I'm inclined to agree with Premier fan and Finchley eagle. It was a freak result - everything they did paid off and everything we did didn't pay off. We had enough chances to win the game in the second half. Andros and Wilf constantly got to the byline, only for their crosses to be hacked clear. Loic was most impressive as an attacking threat now that he's reaching match fitnesss. Andros put in an excellent shift - we should have started with him. I recall a similar freak result vHuddersfield a few seasons back - we were promoted that season. COYP

next match we can all start with a clean slate. We can still get out of this mess. But we have to stand together.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

These 'fans' deserve relegation. People are free to demonstrate their feelings (within reason). I certainly condone the confrontation of players but we have had to endure pretty torrid displays of football at home for months on end. We pay good money to support Palace and in return expect our team to be organised with a plan, show some metal, be up for a fight and compete fiercely to get results. Not completely rollover and capitulate by half time having let 4 goals in. At 0-1 or 0-2 down you can still support your team, but basically having watched the team taken apart (three goals in 6-7 mins) they all now need counselling! I don't agree that we have become anything like Sunderland or Newcastle supporters as Palace supporters will be back for the Boro' match and will again be behind the team.

We get served sh*t, week after week after week and there’s barely been a boo to be heard - until very recently. If anything, our tolerance has helped Pardew set the rot in for longer.

Are we not making it worse? Allardyce has said the players are nervous playing at home. If we all join in booing and chanting you're not fit to wear the shirt etc.. It will only make the situation worse. I completely agree with the concerns but I don't agree with the barracking during the 90 mins (including booing at HT). Surely we need to move on and get behind the team and manager at their hour of need. The "your not fit to wear the shirt" and booing started after we were 4-0 down. Most were in shock as the goals went in.

I think the midfield lost us that game. Cabaye went off, I'd of drop JMc back and put townsend on. Punch also should have come off after about 20mins into 1st half lol, couldn't pass a ball 5 yards ffs. Ledley, bless him - isn't very good. I think that was clear for all to see on saturday.
