Maybe that is why he brought Flamini in.

Maybe he should have brought someone in who was actually fit. Flamini is only since Christmas starting to look like a force.

If you are one of the top 4 you can buy top class second formation the rest dont have that option. The priority in the summer was a striker that I think everybody agreed. Flamini was brought in as a back a back up and was I believe a free agent.

I know he was injured, but a very interesting turn of events once our starting line-up/gameplan had to be altered. Joe Ledley was at fault, in my opinion, for all 3 goals once Cabaye had been brought off and offered 0 creativity.

He didn't track Defoe for the third goal, actually he lets him go and was not screening Januzaj's pass for the fourth. The second was a hell of a strike but a midfielder cant be giving him that much space and allowing him to drift pass so easily (although Punch gave the ball away initially!).

Just though I'd point out, that had it been Milivojevic on the bench perhaps yesterday would not have gone down the s***. Cabaye has the 2nd most interceptions (before yesterday's game) in the entire league this season - and I think his ability to break down opposition attacks often goes unnoticed.

On a final note, has anyone got any tips on forgetting yesterday's horror show? I have a mountain load of work to get through today and the Palace result has demotivated me from doing anything remotely useful.

Wouldn't want to be in a lifeboat with him.

It's mad just how bad Ledley has become.

When you think, the reason Pardew sold Jedinak was because he didn't want 2 backups to our midfield first choice of McCarthur and Cabaye so kept the 'best' one.

Of all the things I blame Pardew for and selling Jedinak is one of them, him actually thinking Ledley is a better midfielder than Jedinak isn't one of them. I think it was a commonly held belief amongst fans at the time.

But if you substitute Cabaye for Jedinak yesterday, we do not lose that game 4-0.

He has no pace, no strength, no long range passing, no nothing.

Absolute waste of space all of a sudden. Yet another one taking up a squad place with no benefit to the team.

My secret name for Ledley is "Jedinak imposter"

Personally I never rated him, certainly never above Jedinak, I would rather have Dikagoi back in that role.
