I don't blame anyone leaving at half time after watching that first half of Utter rubbish. I've been going for over 50 years and I have never ever seen a walkout at this ground at the end of the first half. All of us have every right to protest.
Week in and week out we turn up in our colours pay good hard earned money to see eleven players play for the club and give it their all. However this season it's been non existent and today was the final nail in the coffin. Our supporters have been the twelfth man all season singing their names and willing them on but today those eleven players who wore our colours in the first half need to have a real good look at themselves. No commitment . No Passion. No Pride.

I think people went to the kiosks early at half time and many missed the 4th goal.

Some folks around me started leaving the ground on the hour mark when they realised it was just going to be more of the same. The terrace was about one third full by the end.

However, no worries because our pathetic and clueless players still draw their multi thousand pound salaries and get to drive back to their luxurious homes in their sw***y cars. They'll do the same next week and probably for the forseeable future putting in as minimal effort as they have been allowed to get away with.

Oh yes. I never go to the drinks kisosk before the whistle has gone. We went up after the second goal thinking there couldn't be anything we would miss. Boy were we wrong. Couldn't believe it. We were all shocked and stunned. Still haven't seen the 3rd and 4th goals. Too worse for wear to catch motd last night

I had been looking forward to this game since Tues and was feeling very positive. So come Saturday morning leave Maidstone with my Wife to Bromley where I drop her at her Dads. Now to Sydenham and my Mums to meet Ollie then to the game. But,just as I approach Shortlands.... BANG! Lots of steam/smoke and one broken car. Recovery turns up at 2pm but cannot repair roadside so onto the back of his low-loader heading towards a garage in Bermondsey! Then realised I've got Ollie's ticket so a quick diversion to Sydenham, ticket dropped to Ollie and he hops on train to NJ. Listened on radio and kept in touch with the Hol and rang Ollie at HT to say don't feel bad if you want to walk out. He reminded me of the Sc**thorpe game amongst others and was determined to stay 'til the end, which he did.
Hats off to him and all the others that remained but I'm afraid I must confess,I would've gone. I've just had enough and feel broken.no fight in me anymore and the spirit has slowly been knocked out of me. I will of course be there for Midds'boro, cheering and singing but it is becoming increasingly tougher supporting my beloved Palace! The only positive from the day was car got fixed and listening to the football 'phone-ins on the way home ,the Arse and Liverpoo fans are far more disspondent than any of us will ever be! Ollie's Dad,Ash.

I think it was very much a case of each to their own!

I stayed for the whole match. I convinced myself that we would score quickly after the break and then another and another....

Perhaps I watch too many Disney films with my kids. They always have a happy ending...

I kept thinking of the Liverpool game when we scored 3 goals.
