If we are south London's number one, wouldn't want to be in number 2's pants! Especially if their fall-out is greater.

On what basis? Did nothing when he played for us, except let is some very weak goals (Defoe scored two at their place against him). Speroni hasn't had a clean sheet in his last 14 league games. The problem is not the keeper. Not all of the problem, BUT a VERY large part of the problem. Hennessey for a tall guy doesnt command his area at all, and he seems unable to catch the ball cleanly, usually dropping it. Decision making is appalling, just not a good keeper at all, certainly not at Premier level. We are almost starting at 1-0 down when he plays, defence has no confidence in him...He must go soon if we are to have a chance of staying up,if he plays v Stoke after that, we will lose..

There seems so much blame for the players and far less for Allardyce. Imho, it was clear to see where the problem was from the start and it was all down to Allardyce's choices. The most glaring mistake was with Puncheon and McCarthur. Simply swapping them would have gone a fair way to helping. Punch was clueless, lacked any confidence, weak in the challenge and had zero positional disciple. His ball rention was alarmingly low (two shockers on the first 5mins set the tone). Another clanger was bringing on Ledley. Aside from the goal, Sunderland were no great shakes but they were seemingly able to wander through central midfield. Surely, once Cabaye had to go off, dropping McArthur into his natural position and bringing on Townsend would have kept a more similar balance to the initial set-up that Allardyce had chosen? Ledley's penchant for playing two yards inside and ahead of left-back has me aghast but hey, what do any of us know? We aren't getting paid millions so our understanding of the game is clearly zero. So then we go a second goal down. At this point, surely the alarm bells are ringing and swapping a centre-back for Townsend, dropping McArthur into inside right and bringing Townsend on is required? 1. To give us more attacking threat and 2. To shore up our absent midfield? I am upset by everything yesterday but can only hope that the mistakes by so many, are learnt from and we never see such a debacle again.

The injury to Cabaye and subsequent substitution changed the game plan but 2 goals in injury time of the first half should not be allowed to happen. Sam we were assured by his self would eradicate this problem. He has had 7 games to work on this problem.

Just had the courage to watch the highlights. Even if I'm charitable and just question Hennessey for the first goal, it has to be said, it's the most important one. Seen fouls given, but if he punches that and stands strong it should of been dealt with.

What was wrong with Cabaye? Signalled and told the bench he had to come off then for 2 mins was running around and started an attack. Did he have to meet someone for the rugby? We all know what happened after. Ledley who was part of that amazing double act with MacArthur vs the worst dross of the season came on to fake a performance.

Them others. Let's face it though we have a habit of making poor teams look good. We are better off playing half decent teams and playing them away from home. So a win at Stoke it is then. Why can't the manager/players see this and sort it. Its the same as watching England play. When we are the odds on favourites, we swagger around, give the opposition too little respect and expect the win. BFS sam's stupid f*&king dance said it all before the game. We saw that sh1t at Wembley too, when we though we had it in the bag. This game is all about mental attitude, look at the amazing run that Leicester went on, to eventually win the league last season. They should never underestimate anyone especially another team fighting for survival. Play every game like its do or die.
