While we seem to be overcoming our injury crisis Sunderland are having their own. Sadly for us Kone and Defoe are both fit, but Pickford being out (in theory) is a bonus. On paper we are the better side and should win this, but if Sunderland stay organised and keep Zaha quiet then anything is possible with Defoe up top. The key will be forcing them into playing long balls and ensuring Defoe doesn't get in behind the back three.

I never mind the result if the players put a shift in. As Allardyce said in the press conference, with a strong squad everyone has to play to their best every game, so I'm going to go for 4-1 Palace. A Bentenke Hat-trick and one from Townsend. Defoe with a consolation prize.

Mannone will probably play.
He can be a flamboyant shot-stopper but has had issues deciding whether he should come off his line or not.In the past hasn't looked that confident when he has to deal with challenges when the ball is in the air.

As long as we have two on Defoe and isolate him from the game I think we can pull this off 1-0 palace

I don't see that they can do much except hoof optimistic long balls towards Defoe which Dann, Delaney and Tomkins will hoover up quite happily. Meanwhile at the other end Wilf Punch and Ben will take their trousers down.

Got a feeling we will thrash them, they are the only team that have looked worse than us this season.

4-0 Benteke hatrick

Absolutely crucial we don't undo all the good work we did against Bournemouth. Any win would be fantastic but it's 2-0 for me, one in the first half and the other late in the game.

Defoe to be declared clinically dead after an accident in the 65th minute.

Defoe to still score the winner in the 79th minute.

Defoe is probably running around the pitch having a little sing of "Can I play you every week?" to himself.

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.

Don't panic , an easy win. I'm taking my Ronnie today, my kids have never seen anything other than a convincing win, (they haven't been to many league games)

Apologies it was all my fault, my Maggie is the one that has only ever seen us win. Sorry, I took the wrong kid.
