While we seem to be overcoming our injury crisis Sunderland are having their own. Sadly for us Kone and Defoe are both fit, but Pickford being out (in theory) is a bonus. On paper we are the better side and should win this, but if Sunderland stay organised and keep Zaha quiet then anything is possible with Defoe up top. Defoe with a consolation prize. Mannone will probably play.

I don't see that they can do much except hoof optimistic long balls towards Defoe which Dann, Delaney and Tomkins will hoover up quite happily. Meanwhile at the other end Wilf Punch and Ben will take their trousers down.

Absolutely crucial we don't undo all the good work we did against Bournemouth. Any win would be fantastic but it's 2-0 for me, one in the first half and the other late in the game.
