You rarely see stuff in football where you can't believe your eyes but when Benteke stepped up to take that penalty, I thought I was hallucinating. Unf***ing believable.

Roy must give Tekkers some serious stick for his decision (surely it must of been ?!?) although Dann and Luka supposedly should of buried the points. Feels like we have lost at the moment. COYP !! Edited by Booted Eagle (09 Dec 2017 5.17pm)

All those penalties we've been denied and now we get two! How easy to sink a Palace fan's morale by that brainless decision. After his previous misses the manager should have put a block on this nonsense. Not since the days of AJ have we had a reliable penalty taker until Luca arrived. A 100 per cent record and Benteke muscles in. Stone bonkers crazy.

As someone who has been following this football club for nearly fifty years I don't usually get upset when we lose but I am FURIOUS about this result. Who made the decision that Benteke should take the penalty? It doesn't make any sense at all and if it turns out that Benteke insisted on taking it then he needs to be dropped for the next game. Give one of the youngsters a chance! At least they will put a bit of effort in.

For me today just about sums up why we are were we are. I know Bekkers will come good sooner or hopefully not too much later but for god's sake why oh why take a pen when your confidence is at a low ebb? Severe lack of leadership in my view!!
