Now I get Townsend is probably Newcastle bound but there is going to need to be a bit of a fire sale tomorrow isn't there to come in within the FFP rules. Chungy and Mutch are 2 that are mentioned as departures but the ones I wonder about are Scott Dann and Damo! Damo, is he out of contract in the summer I don't know but Scott Dann I wonder if he is a BFS centre half and as we could get £8-10m out of Pulis at West Brom I wonder if he will be sold to balance the books?

We'll find out tomorrow if it's case of a wider timeframe we're going to have to keep within a maximum expenditure. Maybe it's this summer or even the next one.

I wonder with the Sakho deal, if its at all true that is...whether it will be a loan deal with a future fee agreed. I am sure Liverpool want the player sold but with time running out they might let it happen if offered the right deal?

Surely all the clubs interested have known he was available right from the start of the window.

On another point...do we want him? He hasn't always been amazing for Liverpool. He also doesn't seem to be very professional. Failing a drugs test and being sent home from the pre season tour.
