Science is getting really good now and I expect before I go up to the big football club in the sky I shall see many more fantastic results coming from science.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Not quite lead into gold though is it?

Nuclear fusion seems to have more legs, and we won't be seeing that tomorrow.

To save this species, we need more than these futile attempts at playing "God".

If they're correct it will make great fuel. If it ends a reliance on fossil fuels it will do the planet a favour

Much like nuclear fusion. Which is a bit less "alchemy".

I hope that they are correct. But Roger Bacon stuff doesn't float my boat.

Reminds me one time at Christmas when I thought I had discovered perpetual motion using a candle and mirrors, thus haulting the onslaught of global warming, war in the Middle East, and the fossil fuel crisis in one go. Then I realised I hadn't.
