From my understanding keepers and outfield players are equal when it comes to treatment so the question is would the ref had stopped play if it was either keeper? I think we know the answer and I would love the FA to give an answer

Wrong forum but I agree, play would have been stopped if it had been the keeper. I think Palace are too nice, I'm sure we'd have kicked the ball out rather than going for the jugular as Everton did. I also think a Palace player should have taken a yellow card by stopping play (handball/foul) so that our player could get treatment.

Goalkeepers are a special case. For instance, they don't have to leave the field of play if they are treated on it unlike outfield players who have been injured without a card being shown.
