Being lazy and can't be bothered to create 2 separate threads.

Does anyone know why before the game Speroni came over to the HF and waved to the fans and hugged a few? Please say he isn't leaving!

Secondly, any post match comments about Schlupp? He's vital if we want to play 3-5-2 as our wing back. Never mind the fact he's our brand new 12 million pound player and the only player out of 20 not to turn us down. Hope he's not out for months.

Schlopp played well yesterday and would probably have been our man of the match. The injury didn't look serious, think it was just bad cramp.

Hennessy also played well and made a few good saves. The one from Funes Mori (sp?) in the first half was excellent, the others were Ines you'd expect a decent keeper to make. He didn't have a chance with the goal.

I agree Hennessey made some decent saves yesterday but he did spill two or three shots he should probably have gathered. A poacher in the style of Gary Lineker could have had a hat trick yesterday but fortunately Everton didn't have anyone following in on shots.

That is the most flimsy argument ever put forward! JS has number 1 on his shirt because he was here first. Shirt numbers have nothing to do with team selection - otherwise why would Puncheon be 42?

You stick with your love child ("wayne"as you ALWAYS do cpj and I will stick to the goalkeeper who has proved himself time and time again to be a great shot stopper and that is Jules.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

WHY do you think Wayne has the number 13 on his shirt and Jules has number 1 on his?....Wayne will never ever be the shot stopper that Jules is and why on earth did Wayne sit on his arse when their shot came in and let them score yesterday because if he had stayed on his feet he could have saved it. Wayne is like a wet blanket and just flaps all the time. I know he did some good saves yesterday but most were pretty standard ones that most keepers are capable of which was also stated on the match commentary. I said at the beginning of the match when I saw the team sheets that with Wayne in between the sticks we would lose...and guess what we lost!!

It's posts like this that make me end up defending WH even when he is culpable. There's been plenty to criticise him for but too many fans criticise him for anything and everything. To blame him for yesterday is pathetic. thrn again, a lot of palace fans love a scapegoat

the dignified don't even enter in the game
