I see we are playing on the 31st, the day of the window shutting. I see Clement from Swansea was saying he might have to miss the match, to deal with late signings? Arsenal v Watford Bournemouth v Crystal Palace Burnley v Leicester City Sunderland v Tottenham Hotspur Swansea City v Southampton Liverpool v Chelsea Edited by MPE (31 Jan 2017 11.54am)

He means that those that are dubious about joining us because of our lowly league position might be more inclined to sign on the dotted line if we had just won and crept up the table a bit. The problem with that though as we are looking at new players in order to increase our likelihood of winning

What I am trying to say is alot of business is done on the last day,so can see any late potential signings being left out of squads that night. 6 teams are not playing on the 31st Considering how big a deal the last day is, thought unfair that logistically players and managers are out and about! Does that make any sense? Edited by MPE (20 Jan 2017 4.54pm)

If he is keen to leave and personal terms have been pretty much the player does have a lot of power. Rumour is PVA wants out. Sunderland have been trying to survive by scraping by more than any others after all.

After listening to Allardyce's press conference yesterday, he seems just as annoyed and bemused about playing a game on the final day of the transfer window.

The OP was quite clear in what he said. Why do people not read properly and why is there always back biting and sarcasm?
