I think there ought to be a league table of fans on here actually, so we all know where we rank in terms of how well we support Palace. I'm pretty sure I'd be in the bottom 5% but it's become clear that there is a real need for this kind of ranking system in order to know who we should look up to and look down on. Obviously it should come with a few "acceptable excuse" cards that could be played, such as death of a parent or getting married (1st time only). Edited by Part Time James (19 Jan 2017 2.17pm) This is a spiffingly good idea but clearly the table should not be based upon attendance alone.

Who's going along on Saturday week to see Palace knocked out of this year's FA Cup? It would never happen under "FA" Pardew. Actually, we got "FA" but supposedly, he walked away with £3 million. That's 120,000 tickets for the tie with Man City enough to fill Selhurst Park about 5 times.

Just read all 6 pages of this thread and can see both sides of the argument but like Bicycle Repair Man says should we get to the S/Final this year (unlikely ) but you never know, there will be people fighting for tickets,to be fair and encourage those to go that didn't make it lst night why not have a separate loyalty point system for EFL AND FA Cup matches.I do acknowledge through distance and illness etc some fans cannot make these late midweek games but for those people within a reasonable distance of the ground it seems that if we are doing well you will be there ,if were not like now you can't be bothered, but will be no doubt be able to attend Wembley.

I'm not criticising people who live untravelable distances. I travel from near Portsmouth, home at 1245. Not too far but far enough to feel knackered in the morning, so I know how many felt when the alarm went off. However,we get 25,000 at home league games and not many of us were ever going to make it to Bolton to celebrate Jules' record breaking game, so why were those that could not travel to Bolton absent last night. He acknowledged the cheers of the few that were there, but it would have been great to see a decent number there to cheer him and the team. Disasppointed with Palace fans. I didn't go because I was pissed off with the £20 price and had no intention of coughing that up to back our money grabbing club's decision to treat the fans as little more than cash cows to be exploited. I live in SE25 as well if that matters. Don't care if it makes me a bad fan or whatever, the club get these things wrong too often and need to learn a lesson which hopefully the 7k crowd provided.
