Most enjoyable time for me since we've been up in PL to be honest. Found it incredibly exciting to go completely against the run of play and beat a team that had been dominating us. What football is all about.

Football under Pulis was much better than he is given credit for. I am sure that there were some dire games but I am struggling to think of any

Very effective mind you. Did have some other games where we played well though, WBA, Chelsea spring to mind. Crystanbul we were actually shocking for the first 75 mins, could have been 5 or 6 down. Amazing last 15 though! Back when Punch was at his best and had an actual goal threat. God how we miss that.

Pulis was playing some ruthlessly efficient football with us near the end. But the Palace that Allardyce and Sammy Lee have been talking about experiencing was the Pardew team of 2015. So that included Bolasie and Zaha, McArthur. One players absence that is overlooked these days is Chamakh's, didn't play much in 2015 but was capable of opening up the pitch like not many others I see even today in the PL. Schlupp is here to replace what went with Bolasie. We need McArthur but we also need a competitor for his place or someone to step in when he's injured.

The point is if we want to move forward we can't keep doing the same old options. We lost a huge opportunity when we sacked Pardew...Take a look in what Hull done... Young and talented manager. Marco Silva is from a new wave. Us instead keep insisting in old blocks with football ideas from 20 years ago. Maybe I'm bias but when we see the work of Carlos Carvalhal with Owls it's another great example of modern managers Edited by Portuguese (17 Jan 2017 5.47pm)
