Happy to take a free trip to Selhurst if anyone wants to give their ticket away. Any game, not fussy. I still enjoy it

I don't dread going to Selhurst it's the coming away walking with the hoards of other upset fans and then the arduous journey home.

Went to Bolton and Wet Spam will be there Sat but tonight having a rest.

I would LOVE to go to Selhurst again - but I have Parkinson's and Arthritis in my knee joints and live in Bristol.

My first visit to Selhurst was 1963 as a 9 year old.

I have always been excited about every match I attended and never felt any dread.

The last match I saw and felt the team had let us down was a 1-0 home defeat to Br1-3ton on a Tuesday night under Dowie... it p1ssed down with rain on the way home and I got soaked. Didn't stop me getting up for our next match though!

Those of you oldies who are able bodied, and are still going to watch Palace home and/or away should cherish every moment... you don't know when it will all be taken away from you.

Watching your team on the TV at home is not the same as watching them live.

Thanks, Hoof - I feel humbled by that.
