Hi Nick I was just trying to prove to the our American poster that there are numerous reasons on both sides of the fence and really we should take a lot of it with a pinch of salt. Have you noticed how anything we put in posts and it does not tie in with some peoples ideas that WE are the ones that are wrong every time. You should know that the way people pick on you mate. We all have our own views on things and my view on Climate change is mainly down to nature as it has been for thousands of years.

Global warming is real. I have no doubt about it. We are cutting the rainforests down at an unnatural rate and destroying the oceans by filling them with waste. How this is likely to have no effect on the planet I have no idea. In the same way that if the bees die we die if all the trees are gone obviously we will be too. The efect of cutting down trees is going to have a detrimental effect on our planet and the air quality and the truth is we are destroying the rainforests. It seems that some people believe that we can continue doing this and it won't have any effect whatsoever. I don't need a scientist to tell me that's bulls***. Most of these people have ulterior motives and try to allay the public's fears in the same way that in the past doctors might have told people not to worry about smoking as it has no ill effets on your health. In time everyone will realise whether it's global warming or not we are destroying the environment at a rate that we have never done before in the history of the human race and all for one thing - money. ps have a look at this cartoon too... says a lot about the whole thing... Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping. Hubert Reeves |
