I think he could be a very useful signing. Plays in a number of positions, has much experience of the PL and could be a very useful squad addition.Remember, the striking options at the moment are basically Ayew and Benteke and no options to replace either Zaha or Townsend in the event of injuries as we saw on Monday night. Borini would certainly provide that cover.

We are short of goals and if we bring in a striker who has only scored 7 goals in the last 3 seasons from about 70 apps this will go down well with the supporters!!!!
