In my opinion Big Sam needs to get people in quickly that he trusts and has worked with before i.e. Sammy Lee of course who is available, and maybe we could tempt Phil Brown to leave Southend and become our assistant manager. Either way, i just don't think it is good for morale to have Pardew's old coaching staff basically on 'borrowed time' as they say. I can only assume this has not been done quicker because of the hectic Christmas and New year period

You are so Right Glaziermart.

Where I sit we have been saying for the last 18 months that the backroom/coaching staff are not good enough, and are a part of the problem
Millen, might be a nice bloke but he is not a number 2 and a very average coach.
The goalie coach, Woodman, looks like he is sponsored by Pukka Pies. He was a very average lower division keeper.

Sam has had to rely on their knowledge of the players for the last 3 games.
I do hope he gets in his own coaching staff ASAP

Swansea have backed up Clement with two new coaches, and I really hope we bring in someone for fitness and defense.

He will get in his own backroom team, but at the moment he's still getting to know the team and he needs some crossover from the previous regime to achieve that quickly. Give it a few weeks and it will be the night of the long knives.

Whoever keeps telling Puncheon to do those awful floated corners needs to be sacked. I'd imagine it's Millen as nothing has changed there.

I was surprised this morning that nobody had blurted ot "Sack Millen", "Sack Keen" "Bring in your own coaching team" etc etc.

When he was at Sunderland his Assistant was Bracewell and coach Stockdale and they have both remained there under Moyes. At W.Ham his Assistant was Neil McDonald who has been assisting Mike Phelan at Hull. Phelan has gone and they are looking to bring in someone from abroad so I suspect McDonald could interest Allarydce. His coach at W.Ham was Ian Hendon - not sure what he is doing.
