How on earth is Sam going to attract players here in the window. We look a club in total disarray with our best player now gone to AFCON team spirit at a low ebb and now the fans turning against the players. Hes got to bring in at least four dogs of war one of whom to take over the captaincy

Easier to attract players to London than Sunderland as well. No doubt he has a shortlist and things are in motion.

Maybe a third choice LB on loan from a top 6 club who wants to play rather then warm the bench.

SA is a big name with a strong record. Stronger than the other managers down there. He brought in the 3 K's who completely sorted out Sunderland's issues and they were bottom and wors so all is not over.

Interestingly all came from abroad.Allardyce did say in relating to us he could go for British players with PL experience or take more of a risk and recruit from outside these shores.

Does he only sign players whose names begin with "K"? Maybe we could make a bid for Knockaert?
