Also raises the question what happens to our American investors if we get relegated?

Will they stay and keep the faith or are we just ££££££ to them and no longer a viable investment?

Would love to see the contract Parish signed with them!

They would have to sell at a significant loss probably if we get relegated so can't see them walking away just yet.

A contract with Parish? Don't think there would be one and for what if there were?

I wish Parish had taken a little longer to decide who was going to take over from Pardew. Did he even consider anyone else apart from an old, tired Allardyce?

Maybe that's why it took so long to get rid of Pardew, Parish was weighing up what was on offer.

Probably not but I'm not entirely convinced it was all his decision. I wonder if because the yanks had backed down on Pardew when they wanted him out and Parish wanted to give him more time, they saw the appointment of Allardyce as their turn.

But his effort tonight and control was embarrassing. Maybe the Chinese interest is true and his head has gone.

His goal ratio for us is pretty good by premiership standards, and phenomenal by our standards. 8 from 18. My feeling is that he was f**king knackered by the Swansea game having played up front, alone, against Watford and Arsenal before that, in such a short space of time.

Even top athletes have a recovery time and I'm sure if Remy and Wickham had been fit, he wouldn't have been starting and playing the majority of three games in short succession (and picking up an injury against Swansea).

Legend has it that Wickham was fit at some stage of his career.

To be fair there was not a lot out there to choose from, Was rumour that Allardyce had been offered a good contract in China and Pardew was reign should have been brought to an end a long time ago. IMO Sam will do a good job and is a far better Manager than Pardew will ever be.We have upgraded, give the man a chance even if we get relegated he will bring us back up again.
